The main European stock markets ended near the lows of the day, taking cues from the US. The intraday moves in Italy and Spain were somewhat impressive, the lows of the day came at the open and both weathered the rout in the US. To me, that points to overseas money coming in later in the day, something that’s also bullish for the euro.
