German government said to now expect 2019 GDP growth of 0.8% - report

The German government last revised their growth forecast for the economy to just 1.0% this year from 1.8% previously seen. And the fact that the industrial/factory sector is experiencing a slow start to the year and Chinese growth outlook remains questionable is forcing a reconsideration among German officials.

Do be reminded that there's still the possible threat of auto tariffs that could potentially hamper the German economy further later in the year.
