German efficiency doesn’t extend to the courts, evidently

Part of the euro worries today extend from deliberations at the German constitutional court. The head judge asked what would be the consequences of a 2-3 month delay in the decision on the legality of the ESM. It was a hypothetical question but it raises the risk of a new snag.

Schaeuble warned that a delay could cause market turbulence. A temporary ruling is also possible.
