Only Korea's main index bucked the trend, as the Bank of Korea held key rates steady at 1.50% and revised their inflation forecast lower.
But apart from that, it's a subdued day for Asian equities as geopolitical risks continue to keep traders on edge - especially with the tensions in Syria and whether or not the US will be launching missiles as Trump said they would.
