In response to Utility requesting users conserve natural gas

• GM officials say stopped work at the request of Consumers Energy
• Consumers Energy asking Michiganders to cut back on natural gas use because of frigid temperatures and because of a fire at a Detroit area facility that's hampering the utility's ability to supply natural gas
