G20 leaders statement on Coronavirus
The G20 leaders have issued a statement saying:
- will do whatever it takes to overcome coronavirus pandemic
- will take all necessary health measures and seek adequate financing to contain pandemic
- committed to presenting a united front against coronavirus
- tackling the pandemic and its intertwined health, social and economic impacts is our absolute priority
- they are committed to protect the lives, safeguard jobs and income
- response requires transparent, robust, large scale and coordinated response
- they are committed to restoring confidence preserving financial stability, reviving growth and recovering stronger
- they are committed to helping all countries in need and coordinating on public health and financial measures
- commit to all necessary health measures and financing to contain the pandemic and protect people including the most vulnerable
