Funding still open for Australian banks: CBA

Risk sentiment took a bashing late on Friday afternoon after ANZ chief Mike Smith said that funding markets had effectively closed, similar to what happened during the GFC. CBA Treasurer Lyn Cobley refutes this in an interview with the Australian Financial Review, saying that European funding markets are open for high quality Australian banks.
