French economic minister gets his knickers in a twist over UK Osborne's tax moves

Reuters picking up a comment from Emmanuel Macron

  • It is not his impression that corporate taxes is the first issue which the UK government needs to move on post Brexit

Thanks for that.

Over the weekend he was waxing lyrical about how Brexit has given France an opportunity to win new business. With corp taxes at 33% in France, compared to 20% in the UK, it looks like Osborne's plans to lower them further has put Macrons nose out of joint.

All's fair in love and war sunshine ;-)
