- GDP +1.7% vs +1.7% y/y flash estimate
The flash readings can be found here. No changes to the flash estimate, nothing to gather from the release here.
At the same time, July consumer spending figures are out too:
- Consumer spending +0.1% vs +0.3% m/m expected
- Prior +0.1%; revised to +0.3%
- Consumer spending +0.2% vs +0.2% y/y expected
- Prior +0.3%; revise to +0.5%
A tad softer on the July consumption indicator, but that is offset by positive revisions. Low-tier stuff.
