The EUR lost ground across the board overnight but bearish momentum has weakened over the last few hours and we may again be in for a quiet session. Tokyo is closed today and tomorrow and the whole region is in holiday mode for Golden week.
AUD/USD held up well despite the heavy EUR/USD selling during the European session, and EUR/GBP selling helped support GBP/USD. USD/JPY has found some interim support it would seem, but there’s no sign of a relief rally just yet.
New Zealand jobs data due in a couple of hours and that might provide some brief volatility in the Anzacs.
