Retail sales was released back on April 15
For what it is worth, the census department is announcing a revision to the April 15 retail sales from -8.7% from -8.4% previously reported.
- Ex autos and gasoline revised to -2.8% from -3.1 previously reported
I'm not sure why retail sales revisions are being released currently except that data collection has likely been more difficult and the advanced report may have been short of what is normal.
Up by head at the bottom of the hour (10:30 AM ET/1430 GMT) will be the Dallas Fed manufacturing activity index for April. With estimates of -75 versus -70 from last month.
