I can certainly understand the thinking here. Why should someone who hasn't lost any income (and makes good money) be getting a government handout?
In any case, there are still going to be huge amounts of money thrown into the economy.
The taper levels in the House bill were 100K for individuals and 200K for joint filers. Some Senators want to cut it down and it looks like they've won the day.
