- Explosion heard near US embassy in Beijing. Tremors were felt by eye witnesses to get an idea of the size.
- The US embassy in Beijing has stopped processing travel visa applications - A Beijing based travel agent.
- A Chinese police SUV seems to have been damaged in the incident.
China state media not yet saying whether it is an actual explosion or terrorist attack. A ton of mixed reports flicking through Reuters and my stream.

Updates from the US Embassy:
- There was an explosion at approximately 1pm today in the public space off the south east corner of the embassy compound.
- There was one individual who detonated a bomb.
- Other than the bomber, there were no injuries.
- The local police responded to the explosion.
