The euro was already retracing earlier gains against the dollar but the headline here has brought it to fresh lows on the day. I would expect the commission representatives and the US side to play down the news here but this seems like an inevitability. Tariffs are eventually going to come, so it's about time markets start considering it as part of the equation.
