  • Italy's future depends on being a credible nation within the euro area
  • 2019 deficit will have to be well below 2% of GDP

Well, that pretty much confirms what the EU wants to see coming from Italy. Budget headlines are doing the rounds today as the deadline draws closer. Tomorrow, Italy will be presenting an economic document which will include a draft on their fiscal plans that will be outlined by the budget.
