Not sure if the two are related but EUR/USD raced up from 1.3107 to 1.3132 just around the time of the 15:00 G<t options expiry. I’m guessing it was related.
With the clocks moving ahead an hour in North America over the weekend, we get an extra hour of European fun. The fixing will be at noon in NY for the next two weeks and equities will close at 12:30 EDT.
Sellers are still seen in the 1.3135 area, traders report.
