- Core CPI +0.7% vs +0.7% y/y prelim
The preliminary report can be found here. No change to the initial estimates as euro area annual headline inflation keeps above the 2% target of the ECB.
However, core inflation remains subdued and that is something that policymakers can point towards in maintaining that price pressures are largely more 'transitory'.
