Flattish tones observed in early trades

This largely mirrors the more flat tones observed in US futures and bond yields as well to start the session. Markets are keeping more steady amid the lack of catalysts for now as we wind down towards the year-end holidays next week.
I would expect the lackluster mood to carry on towards North American trading later with perhaps the BOE being the key risk event that could shake things up.
