Flattish tones observed in early trades

  • German DAX futures flat
  • French CAC 40 futures -0.1%
  • UK FTSE futures flat

I would argue that the sentiment here is erring more towards the side of caution with bond yields also holding a little lower on the day.

There hasn't been much encouraging signs about progress in US-China trade talks and that should keep markets on edge - as it has for the most part of the week.
