Portugal and Ireland released unemployment figures just now and while the fourth quarter of 2014 saw the Portuguese unemployment rate rise to 13.5% from 13.1% in Q3, 2014 as a whole came in at 13.9% vs 16.2% in 2013.
Ireland’s standardises unemployment rate dropped to 10.5% in Jan from 10.6% in Dec. Jobless claims came in at 360.2k vs 363.9k prior.
