10 year yields are lower
The European stocks are ending the session mixed but off low levels:
- German Dax is down -1.12%
- France's CAC is down -1.06%
- UK's FTSE is down -0.36%
- Spain's Ibex is down -0.15%
- Italy's FTSE MIB is unchanged
- Portugal's PSI20 is down -0.46%
In the 10 year debt sector, yields are lower in Europe:
In the forex market as London traders look to exit, the JPY is still the strongest, but has seen some of its flight to safety strength erode as stocks came off lows. The USD has also lost some of the early strength but continues to be higher vs most of the majors (with the exception of the JPY and the CHF (although little changed vs the CHF now). The AUD remains the weakest but it too has seen some of the early NY session declines, trimmed.
- Spot gold has trimmed some of the earlier losses. It is down about -$3.00 or -0.23% at $1275.26
- WTI crude oil is down about -$1.00 at NY midday
- Bitcoin is up $27 at $6752
