Major indices close near session highs
The European major stock indices are closed and all the major indices are lower. However, they are also all off lows for the day.
Below is a snapshot of the % changes seen during the day and the the closing levels. Most (including US and Canadian indices) are below the 0.0% line, but are trading/closed near the highs. The biggest exception is the Portugal's PSI20 which is nearer to the lows.
A good comback for the markets and certainly not near the declines from the Hang Seng which fell -2.90%, the Shanghai composite which fell -5.58%m or the tech heavy Shenzhen composite index which fell -7.38%.
