The overall risk mood in markets remains unenthusiastic
- Eurostoxx flat
- Germany DAX flat
- France CAC 40 flat
- UK FTSE -0.1%
- Italy MIB flat
This mirrors the sentiment seen in US futures, which are also not doing much as we navigate through the start of the European morning.
Bond yields are also sitting more flat on the session but in the currencies space, there is an extremely mild bid in the dollar that sees EUR/USD at 1.1085 with GBP/USD at 1.2840-50 currently. That said, trading ranges remain relatively narrow for the most part.
Gold also pushed a little to $1,495 before backing off to near flat levels again now closer to $1,493. In short, markets are still a tiny bit choppy as traders look to get settled in on the new day and ahead of the Fed decision tomorrow.
