Euro outside bearish day extends as losses continue

EUR/USD down 75 pips

The euro has been in freefall since the options cut.

It's now down three quarters of a cent to 1.1082 after touching as high as 1.1186 late in Asia-Pacific trading.

The decline coincided with a souring of broader market sentiment and, in particular, a harsh selloff in cable.

The decline has knocked out the 200-day moving average and it's an outside bearish day that failed between the 50% and 61.8% retracement of the Brexit drop. That all adds up to more declines from here.
