The EU will ask for a "multi-billion" pound increase in the Brexit divorce deal payment in exchange for the UK taking a delay on Brexit, according to a Telegraph report.

That should go over well.

The thing is, the EU has some leverage here. They can deny the UK the extension and force them to leave the EU or restart the clock.
