The European Union on a charm offensive
A European Commission spokesman thinks the UK will slip out the back door without settling its tab.
During the time of its membership, the UK has taken, and probably will take financial commitments and these should be honoured in full
All commitments are taken jointly with the other member states and if not paid by the UK, the other 27 members will have to foot the bill
What are we, Greece? ;-)
