Do note that there is no EU Summit scheduled for November but it seems almost certain now that we won't be getting any form of agreement to come in October's one. Hence, it would have to be an emergency summit called in November for this to happen.
Either way, Barnier hinted at an "unprecedented deal" for the UK overnight and that has seen the pound rip higher. So, as long as that stays on the table then this is still alright for the UK. I'm still finding it tough to see how the two sides will reconcile the Irish border situation, but I guess they know something that we don't.
