Bloomberg citing an unnamed EU official ahead of Brexit discussions tomorrow
- Brexit white paper is no more than a starting position
- EU won't produce official response to white paper
- EU is negotiating a divorce deal, not the white paper
- Brexit is still very unclear, nobody knows what will happen
- Extension of Article 50 is possible
Well, looks like we won't be getting much details tomorrow as well. Not really a surprise since the white paper itself doesn't offer too much solutions on how to deal with the Irish border or how it is to address concerns on a backstop plan.
The last comment says it all. Can October come already so that we can kick the can down the road once again?
