That looks like it will be the target day for a deal
EU leaders are meeting in Salzburg next week and afterwards are expected to announcement an extraordinary Brexit summit in November, the Guardian reports.
The report also says that at the Salzburg meeting, Barnier will be instructed to work with the best of May's Chequers proposals while insisting on a resolution of the hard Irish border issue by the time of the October leaders' summit.
Anyone else starting to get very optimistic on the chances for a GBP-boosting deal?
