And with that, the lira erases all gains against the dollar on the day
It was earlier reported that CBRT governor Cetinkaya would be meeting with Turkish president Erdogan. That gave a boost to the lira to move from 4.45 down to 4.41 against the US dollar.
Now reports are saying that the meeting will have nothing to do with the currency, and those gains are all but gone now. Good stuff.
