Economists now see SNB raising rates earlier than previously expected

According to Bloomberg's latest survey

The previous survey had seen economists expect the SNB to first move in Q4 2019, but the timing of that has been brought forward to Q3 2019 based on the latest survey.

The forecast timing of a second rate hike thereafter remains the same, at Q1 2020.

Other forecasts pertaining to growth and inflation were largely left unchanged as Q2 2018 GDP forecast is seen at +0.5% q/q - similar to the prior survey.

Well, these surveys are as fickle as one can be and expectations can easily change as the landscape of the market does too. The SNB will surely only act after the ECB, so regardless of when that will be we'll have to wait and see what Draghi and co. are doing first before evaluating Jordan's policies.
