Nasdaq up 0.32% leads the way
The US stocks are ending with gains and with the gains, the Dow is closing at yet another record close.
The S&P stalled ahead of its record high at 2940.91. The high reached 2939.86. The index was hit in the last few hours of trading, turning negative at one point. However, there was a modest bounce into the close and the index is closing up 2.08 points or 0.07% at 2925.51. The 100 hour MA (blue line in the chart below) comes in at 2917.97. That will be a key level in trading tomorrow.
The other major indices are showing:
- The Nasdaq closed up 25.639 points or 0.32% at 8025.08. That was off the highs 8053.93
- The Dow closed up 54.45 points or 0.20% at 26828.39. The high reached 26951.81. The low extended to 26789.08
