The greenback is up to session highs on the day
That has seen EUR/USD dragged to session lows of 1.1555 while GBP/USD is also at session lows of 1.2869. Meanwhile, AUD/USD and NZD/USD are also at session lows of 0.7334 and 0.6684 respectively.
No headlines to have caused the move as dollar bulls move through to the gears on the day. There was a hint of a bid earlier in the session and we're seeing more flows on the back of that now.
Nonetheless, the ranges for most currency pairs remain relatively tight still. EUR/USD currently sits in a 28 pips range while AUD/USD sits in a 35 pips range. Not the most exciting of sessions to say the least.
There is some support for EUR/USD around 1.1540-50 so that will be the next test for sellers in the near-term. Aside from the moves above, USD/JPY and USD/CAD are still relatively subdued with both pairs barely moved from the mild bid in the dollar.
The former remains anchored by large expiries and technical levels between 110.00 to 110.50. Meanwhile, the latter is heavily influenced by NAFTA headlines and continues to stay stagnant after reversing earlier losses.
