I think that pretty much sums it up. Parliament wants May to do the dirty work and basically no one else is willing enough to take up the mantle from her to negotiate things with European officials only for it to lead towards a no-deal outcome. Basically, May has so much invested in this that she has very little left to lose and any one who is willing to replace her as prime minister would basically be committing political suicide.
