Good day everyone, and I trust you all had a great week-end
Last night’s bombshell from Summers, timely reported by Eamonn, gave the greenback a good kicking in thin markets and we’ve seen little by way of retracement as yet.
The Fed’s call on tapering due on Wednesday remains the highlight of the week’s events, with the Syrian crisis remaining an ever-present and the UN report on chemical weapons due later today.
First up though is a speech to be given by ECB president Draghi to the SME conference in Berlin at 08.00 GMT, then Eurozone CPI data at 09.00 GMT
One way or another we have a crucial few days coming up
Good luck out there
