US dollar hits the highs of the day
USD/CAD is threatening the 1.2900 level once again. The area up to 1.2913, has been a tough spot of resistance over the past two weeks.
There's a White House meeting today between Trump and automakers that ostensibly about vehicle emission standards but there are rumors that NAFTA will be discussed as the agreement stalls.
There has been a small reprieve for the Australian and New Zealand dollars since Tuesday but they're also under some pressure with most of today's gains erased.
