Tick tock, tick tock, tick tock……
Ahhh, brings back memories.
“Tick tock” was my first ever nickname. As a gobby 7 year old I was sitting in class and the teacher asked someone to go to the main assembly hall and see what the clock said (she wanted to know the time and there was no clock in the room and she didn’t have a watch)
Sharp as a tack I said “no need miss, I can tell you what the clock says……..”
And that was that, a nickname was born……
