Chinese Patrol Boats Leave Senkaku Waters

NAHA, Okinawa Pref. — For the first time in about a week, China’s ships have deserted the Senkaku Islands, the Japan Coast Guard said Sunday in a sign that the spat over the disputed territory could be starting to ease.- The Japan Times

Maybe cooler heads are out there someplace.
