Nikkei report
China will present a counter-offer to US proposals in meetings tomorrow and Wednesday, Nikkei reports.
The pending offer is old news but Nikkei has some details.
Including that Chinese Vice Premier Liu He will meet with U.S. Trade Representative Robert Lighthizer and Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin and also with Trump.
"China would provide a specific timeline for such steps as easing restrictions on foreign investment so that progress can be confirmed by both sides," says Nikkei, citing a source. They will make major concessions.
