Japan/China off today...
Today, Japan and China is off, but that won't stop China from releasing the PMI data for April.
- nonmanufacturing PMI, estimate 54.5 versus 54.6 prior
- manufacturing PMI 51.3 versus 51.5 prior
- composite PMI no estimate. Last 54.0.
The data will be released at 0100 GMT.
Also released at that time will be:
- ANZ business confidence. Last month the index came in at -20.0. There is no estimate. The recent low was in November at -39.3. The index remains near low levels.
- Australia's Melbourne Institute inflation MoM for April will be released at 0100 GMT. Last month rose 0.1% and 2.1% YoY.
- Australia Price sector credit for the month of March is expected to rise by 0.4% vs 0.4% last month and 4.9% YoY (vs 4.9% last month). The report will be released at 0130 GMT
