China releases its end of August forex reserves balance

- Gold reserves $71.2 bn, amounting to 59.24 million fine troy ounces
- Prior gold reserves $72.3 bn
Slight decline in FX reserves relative to July - roughly $8.2 billion. Nothing that really stands out from the report here. The overall gold reserves declined yet again but in terms of fine troy ounces, the amount remains unchanged.
