Variable price action for a lot of currencies but CHF notably weaker 7 Feb
Usual suspect perhaps? Certainly can never rule the SNB out by their own admission and as per my own many posts on the subject previously.
USDCHF now broken up through decent offers/res at 0.9400 to post 0.9414 with EURCHF up to 1.1615 and CHFJPY notably down to session lows of 115.93 as USDJPY runs into option-related supply again as well as some general yen demand.
A line in the sand on USDCHF around 0.9340-50 now on the downside. Next offers/res around 0.9430 and then 0.9460. Similarly EURCHF support into 1.1560 with next sellers/res waiting at 1.1620-30.
I'm not hearing any particular names but this is a concerted move and my money is on Jordan & Co at least making some enquiries.
