BOE governor Mark Carney is on the agenda
Here's the schedule and the details:
1000 GMT - BOE governor Mark Carney speaks in London
Carney will be speaking at a press conference after the release of the central bank's financial stability report at 0930 GMT. This should more or less cover on financial system risks and possibly macroprudential policies, little to do with monetary policy in general.
1015 GMT - ECB governing council member, Benoit Coeure, speaks in Frankfurt
Coeure will be delivering the SAFE policy lecture for about 1.5 hours where he will be speaking on 'Inflation expectations and the conduct of monetary policy'. The text will be made available so we won't really have to wait too long to hear from Coeure throughout his speech. I reckon it could contain some remarks on the economy and policy but likely nothing we haven't heard over the past few weeks.
I'll be back with another post on Fedspeak again later on in the session.
