What's happening is that the press are going around the room speaking to the delegates, which is where we're getting the flood of comments from.

The live feed usually runs until the actual official meeting starts and then the press get hoofed out. When the meeting is concluded, we'll get all the comments from exiting delegates followed/preceded by an official statement.
