Canadian data is up first
It's all about the Canadian dollar at the bottom of the hour with reports on CPI and retail sales due. Ryan took a closer look at CPI and what it could mean for the BOC.
Later, the Fed will get a chance to massage the message coming from the FOMC. Up first it's Williams speaking in San Francisco at 11:40 am ET (1540 GMT). That's followed the Mester at 12:45 pm ET (1645 GMT).
Mester is a known hawk so she'll probably be ignored but Williams is more hawkish than many market watchers give him credit for so he could surprise and give the dollar a lift.
Otherwise, we'll be looking for responses to the latest Greek proposal and trying to determine the likelihood of a deal before trading closes for the week.
