The Canada unemployment rate remained steady at 5.6%. It was expected to take up to 5.7%. The jobs gains were as expected this month after last month's oversize 94.1K increase.
Increases were recorded in manufacturing, transportation and warehousing, as well as in health care and social assistance. Declines were in wholesale and retail trade as well as in public administration.
No real shocks in this report. The USDCAD is higher, however, on the back of the big rise in NFP in the US
