CAD beat out the US dollar
The Canadian dollar was conspicuously soft last week even as the other commodity currencies rallied. Some of that divergence was undone on Monday as the loonie led all G10 currencies with AUD and NZD near the bottom of the pile.
That's a tentatively good sign for the loonie ahead of the big BOC decision on Wednesday.
