In the early part of 2012 we’ve often seen stock selloffs in the US morning inspired by Europe. Once Europe goes home, we gradually recover through the US afternoon. Keep an eye on US markets. If they bottom around the 16:30 GMT close of the European bourses, we could see some short-covering later today.
A move back above 1.3135 will be the first warning sign.
