They're choosing not to hype up the rhetoric even more and play things a little cooler after markets are already feeling optimistic about chances of a financial services agreement. The pound has pared some of its earlier gains on the day with cable back under 1.2900 now to 1.2885. EUR/GBP has also come up a little to 0.8827.
