UK official
- UK government set the plan vote just on Brexit withdrawal agreement
- tomorrow is last chance to lock in May 22 leaving date
- political declaration could still change after vote
- UK official speaking on condition of anonymity
- still need full ratification vote after tomorrow
The prior votes were on the combined withdrawal agreement and political declaration. This is an attempt to get the extension to May 22 from the EU.
Needless to say, the governement is grasping at straws in an attempt to kick the can down the road and "hopefully" come to an agreement. The lawmakers also have to get around the speakers requirement that MV3 is not the same at MV2. This vote tomorrow would not be a meaningful vote.
What a puzzle...
